Data Security and Terms

We take extensive measures to protect your data and information.

As with any website, there is a risk associated with using Panic Study.

Panic Study is developed by a single high school student, and is not a legal company. (yet)

Data security is of utmost priority. Panic Study has underwent 11,382+ security checks through intruder.io

All sensitive data is salted and GPU-hashed through PBKDF2 with 100k iterations.

We have a recurring weekly check for operating system updates and security patches.

We follow strict security guidelines for all code and extensively test for common vulnerabilities on pages involving sensitive data.

About 30% of the time spent developing the site has been spent on security. Yet, it is important to note that all of our security efforts are to mitigate risk. We ask that you do your part in protecting your data and information by creating a strong password (w/ length & complexity) and using a strong password manager.

We want you to focus on bringing peer education to your school and not on the integrity of your data.
